Medical Insurance

Zidan was admitted to hospital last Thursday due to high fever
kesian dari isnin demam tak kebah2. bile kebah, malam naik balik
lagi bahaya, mama tak ada stok ubat insert kat punggung tu
yikes!! mama dok berjaga la malam2 lap2 kepala, badan dia
tak boleh tunggu die sembuh sendiri macam ni memang kene pegi doctor

so we went to Pusrawi jumpe paed and see what was really happening to him
doc suggest amik blood test to find out.
Nasib baik pegi private hospital, result blood test dapat dalam setengah jam macam tu
30 minutes later result showed darah tak nampak normal
doc kata zidan demam panas tanpa batuk and selsema
which is bahaya.
she suspected zidan might be having dengue atau demam campak
so we decided then and there untuk masuk wad

now, i wanna tell you mothers out there how IMPORTANT is it to have an insurance
to be precise, medical insurance.
mama ambil Prudential BSN Takaful for zidan
sebab mama pun ambil insurance yang sama
from agent yang sama. (senang kerja)

once doctor kata the patient tu kene masuk wad
pegi je dekat kaunter bawak and tunjuk kad insurance anda
(but zidan punye kad is still with the agent, tak ada masa mama nak pegi amik,
but not to worry, number insurance pun dah cukup for them to check in the system)
agent zidan ni amatlah efficient, die bagi number insurance and tolong process kan dari segi pengeluaran Guarantee Letter (GL)
dalam 2 jam macam tu dah settle ( actually the admission process dalam 1 jam tapi masa tu dah lunch hour)
mama is not complaining :)

zidan admitted for 2 nights
hari khamis, jumaat and sabtu tengah hari dah discharged
bila bill terima, total dalam RM1354 and we had to pay 10% out of the total
so we paid around RM300 macam tu.

process nak discharged pun hassle free
we waited around 2 hours nak tunggu bil dibayar oleh insurance
(usual time kena tunggu for insurance company to settle the bill is around 2 to 5 hours)

to make a point, having medical card is UBERRR important especially for babies and toddlers
yang usually prone to all kinds of viruses and bacterias ( mintak simpang) but it is the truth right?
mothers should know this well.

Alhamdullilah, zidan seems back to normal
except for his tantrums bila nak bagi ubat! adehhhh

and if anyone who is reading this and not having a med card for your kids yet,
please do so. kalau nak i recommend good agent,

semua package insurance lebih kurang sama
yang membezakan adalah agent insurance tu.
kalau rajin dia ( also, full time), maka senang dan cepatla process bayar bill, claim and all
tapi kalau dapat agent yang buat part time, lepas tu jenis tak alert and selalu tangguh2
tu yang memang boleh kasi hangin satu badan!

and yes, please cari agent yang buat insurance full time ye
part2 time ni elak lah kalau boleh.
